- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and referring veterinarians, providing a warm and professional experience
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling with accuracy and efficiency
- Facilitate client check-in and check-out, ensuring smooth communication between the front desk and clinical team
- Maintain and organize patient records, referrals, and medical documentation
- Process payments, invoices, and estimate approvals accurately
- Support the hospital team with administrative tasks to maintain daily flow and client satisfaction, including maintaining cleanliness, organization, and restocking
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary, medical, or client service setting
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling or medical record systems
- Experience in a specialty or referral veterinary hospital
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and understanding of common surgical procedures
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and client management software – experience with ezyVet is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
